Winery Visit and Wine Tasting
The Chateau Oumsiyat Winery and the old Cave are open all year long, however, winery visits are available only by appointment.
The tours are conducted by the owners and as such a schedule visit is required, the winery tour is extensive and includes the following:
– A visit of the old winery a walk through the village.
– A visit of the new winery: the fermentation area, the bottling line, and the cellar.
– A tasting of a selection of our wines.
Detailed explanations are provided throughout the tour.
Group visits are encouraged! don’t forget to call for reservation.

Hiking El Mtein
Nature lovers, this call is for you!
we give you the chance to extend the winery tour to a hiking experience and walk through the village of Mtein.
History, nature, culture and more, this is what you should expect in this amazing experience throughout Mtein and its surrounding area.
Enjoy an experience like no other as we take you in a journey of wine making, hiking and historic sites visits.
the 3 hours tour consists of hiking (easy level) and visits to:
– Old winery
– Abillamah historic palace
– Mtein meuseum of Art
– Roman and Byzantine ruins in Msaika
– Old silk factory
add 2 hours to hike “Tallet el Joz” (Roman ruins), the old bridge and check out the grapes pressing.
End the tour with a visit to our splendid winery! followed by wine tasting and an open buffet lunch at our premises

BEIT JEDDI
In the heart of the mountain village of Mtein lies Beit Jeddé, a beautiful community center, guesthouse and multi-purpose space that welcomes guests from near and far with open arms. The house is over a hundred years old and retains many of its original features. A modern guesthouse that offers the comfort and coziness one would expect from a traditional village dwelling. There are two beautifully decorated and furnished bedrooms on the first floor (one double and one twin), each with its own bathroom. It is also somewhere you can enjoy a breakfast of delicious, locally produced delicacies.

MTEIN GUEST HOUSE
Have you ever imagined that you can stay at this 300 years old place built by Al Lamaa royal family back in 1690. Located in El Mtein’s historic square, a historic guesthouse with a spectacular architecture. It can fit up to 16 people in 4 rooms, with a breathtaking well preserved courtyard. THE VENUE GARDEN
The Venue Garden is a 300 year old traditional Lebanese house with a splendid garden. The guesthouse features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, salon, garden, bbq area and an outdoor pool. One Night Stay in a Guesthouse with Breakfast for 4 Persons.
